Thanks for your thoughtful reply, Mona. It’s so true that humans can disappoint, annoy, and bore us. But should our response be to retreat into phones? I say that, instead, we gently speak to our friends or family when we feel any of those emotions in reaction to them. Easier said than done, for sure, but that goes back to the loop about how we’re all getting pulled into the vortex of cell phone Zombie hell.
It's tough competition between phone and human. The phone may not be able to offer peak experiences, but it also doesn't disappoint, annoy, bore, etc.
